MLD is a gentle, relaxing form of massage for the body's immune system. MLD is effective in its ability to increase the production of white blood cells and to stimulate the immune system. The Lymphatic system runs throughout the body that circulates absorbing fluid, waste products, dead cells, bacteria, viruses, fats and proteins as it flows and also giving passage to immune cells as needed. If the system gets overtaxed because of ill health, surgery, stress or poor diet, it can get sluggish and not do its job as efficiently.
MLD is a great tool for general edema, Lymphedema (pitted Lymphedema is to be avoided), allergies, chronic sinusitis, IBS, Chrons Disease, Rhumatoid Arthritis, Lymph Node removal, pre & post surgery and boosting the immune system before the flu season starts.
